2.5

You'll be very impressed to know that I have now written 2.5 pages of a book. Only 300 left to go.

  1. On May 16 you wrote that you were on the verge of DOING SOMETHING! Is writing the book your "something?" I'm sure it will be a great book. I think you should end it with TTFN. Or maybe that will be the title of the book? Do you title a book before or after it's written? I really do want the answers to these questions . . . . I'm not just commenting. Maybe you should have a Q&A link on your blog.

  2. Dear Sparky, :)

Yes, for now the book is the SOMETHING. There will probably be more, but I don't know what yet.

Good idea for the last line of the book!

I don't have a title yet. I think I'll have to see how it turns out and then come up with one. If I already knew how it ended and everything, maybe I could name it now. Maybe after I've written 5 pages, I'll know what to call it. ;)

  3. Hey, sweet blog! I dig the fonts and coloring, much more "You" than your last blog. I like the idea of you writing a mystery novel, or at least a novel with some mystery in it. This could be the first step to filming the horror movie we always wanted to make!

  4. Dear Scott,

Maybe you and Sparky can be my first-round editors. Once I get like 20 pages I'll see if I can be brave enough to send it to you both and you can help me fix it up. :)

Scott, you can add the gritty details about the crimes and Sparky, you can add the details about accounting and hairstyles and girl scouts! (I'll have to try to work in some plotlines around accounting and girl scouts.) :)

  5. I can spell check too - I got 5th place in the Cowley County Spelling Bee. I misspelled
s-w-o-r-d-f-i-s-h. Guess which letter I left out . . . . (w) Oops! I won't make that mistake twice! So there will be no double-u's missing from your book when I'm finished with it.

  6. I misspelled b-u-l-l-e-t-i-n in the 7th grade spelling bee. I have been forever scarred about it; honestly I don't know if I just spelled it right above. I flipped the "e" and the "i" around. Kind of funny now, since you may have the phrase "police bulletin" in the book.
